Alex (Cliff) Barlow

Cliff Barlow is the Director of Security Services for KoreLogic, Inc. and is responsible for leading KoreLogic's Security Services team. Mr. Barlow has over 21 years of experience in design, implementation, security and management of information networks. Cliff is skilled at problem solving, architecture and process development, and client delivery in a global environment. He understands the value of delivering business results, meeting commitments and maintaining strong business relationships.

As the Consulting Director for KoreLogic, Cliff is responsible for all aspects of the consulting delivery process, and functions as a security management consultant and program manager for key KoreLogic clients. He has a diverse set of security skills and an ability to build security programs rooted in business risk management. Specialty areas include the assessment of business needs as they relate to formation of mature security programs, development of compliant governance frameworks, and the organizational integration of best-practice risk and threat management practices.

Cliff has authored a state bioterrorism assessment project, developed forensic program plans, contributed to establishing security standards for a major industry association, led analysis and developed architectures for enterprise monitoring and managed and technically contributed to the development and execution of a state cyber-terrorism exercise. Cliff has presented on security topics at a variety of forums including CIO consortiums and industry specific conferences. He provides direct strategic and tactical security guidance to Fortune 500 companies and is a trusted advisor for many Information Security Officers and organizations.

Prior to KoreLogic, Cliff was a Consulting/Technical Director with American Management Systems and META Security Group. He was responsible with providing strategic guidance to focus services in the managed security services program, financial sector direction, managing national projects, delivering security assessment (both programmatic and architectural) and leading business development. Cliff also served as the Integration Manager with Unisys Corporation its security practice, Information Technology Director with Pinnacle Bank, and as a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Cliff is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force tactical communications field where he held a clearance of TS-SCI and is currently serving with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Coxswain where he commands auxiliary boats and supports search and rescue efforts on southern Lake Michigan.

Mr. Barlow is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP). Cliff received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Cliff currently is a member of the College of Business CIS Advisory Board for NAU.
